Livelihoods and Food Security: our interventions improve sustainable community livelihoods and food security by providing livelihoods packages (VSLA, Socio-economic empowerment, and its accompaniment, provision of farm inputs (planting materials and seeds), and the requisite capacity building skill to create the needed impact. Our livelihoods and food security interventions complement climate change reduction; hence, tree crop production and establishment for climate change resilience and adaptation. At the community level, trained women-led community extension volunteers (WCEVs) during their periodic farm group meetings predicates their capacity-building sessions with climate-smart messages to mitigate and reduce the erratic weather conditions in project operational communities.
